IPSC - IDPA - Action Pistol - Cowboy
Plus 2 specialty matches: Shooting more, best 2 will be scored.
Military Match - Backup Gun - Steel Match - Night Match - 2 X .22
Rim fire Match
If you shoot in a discipline and you shoot more that one match
throughout the year your best finish of that type match will be
scored only.
Scoring will only be calculated at end of shooting season last
match in November any one at that time that has met the match qualifications
will be scored.
If 10 shooters qualify then your best finish in a discipline will
be worth that number times 10% if 20 then all will be worth 5% and
so on.
Most competition shooters should have guns to compete in the required
disciplines except for maybe cowboy. Anyone that does not normally
shoot this event that would like to compete can contact Dwayne Nuckols
(276-322-1651 work) and arrangements can be made for use of guns
and ammo for just the cost of ammo replacement.
Any questions please contact Dwayne Nuckols or Steve Hamm club
President
This may not be a perfect calculation but we will do our best to
make it as fair as possible. Since this is the first time this has
been done, anyone having an idea about the calculations will be
considered. No changes will be made to the qualifications for this
year.
Important Notice!
On March 21 and 22, 2008, it was discovered that someone had shot
holes in 8 of the Steel Falling Plates on the Handgun range. The
sign at the entrance to the Handgun ranges strictly forbids the
use of large caliber and magnum handguns and rifles on the Handgun
ranges. The replacement of these plates are very costly.
If anyone has any information about the damaging of the fallling
plates, please contact a member of the Board of Directors. If it
is determined that a current member of TSC committed these damages,
their membership will be revoked immediately and they will be prosecuted
for destruction of property. If a guest of a member is determined
to have committed these damages, they will be prosecuted for destruction
of property and they will not be permitted back on TSC property.
It is the obligation of each member to be aware of anyone damaging
TSC property. All they need to do is to get a license plate number
and the date and time of the incident and report it to the Board
of Directors.
